Friday will be our Open House Celebration. We are looking forward to a student talent show, student dances, and awards for many good deeds. Come join us for lunch, a multi-media show, and students sharing their school. Go Miners!

Students have been honing their writing skills and just this last week took the California STAR Writing test, and the RSD Writing test. Upper grade students created individual and group newsletters that can be seen on our newsletter page. Students also recently all participated in a video conference reading session with Shasta Elementary. Students are all going to be getting their own school email accounts that will allow them to recieve and send assignments, projects, and pen pal correspondances through their teachers account. Our third, and final, trimester has begun and goes through the first week of June. During this trimester, there will be lots of science and social studies, state testing, field trips, gardening, and great experiences.
